OPTic Tech & Science Museum
This was a large group project in which myself and two other team members were required to invent a museum, brand it, and create advertisements for it. As a whole, we had to come up with the concept, design the logo, interior and exterior facade, a minimum of three print advertisements and two outdoor advertisements, the overall floor plan, and conceptual merchandise.
Our concept was a tech and science museum located in San Fransisco, California, scheduled to have its Grand Opening in May 2020. The whole museum is centered around optical illusions and the eye’s connection to the brain––the optic nerve to be precise. We wanted to create a unique, thought-provoking, and yet fun museum experience.
I was tasked with being the lead designer on this project, so most of the design work was done by me. The main driving concept behind the advertisements I created was the idea of OPTIC being an experience “like nothing you’ve ever seen” and being almost like you are stepping into a new dimension where everything is slightly different from what you’d expect; an experience almost separate from reality.
